Often referred to by friends and clients as "Mr. Napa" or the "Unofficial Mayor", Gary seems to know everyone and is involved in everything Napa! A well-known community leader, Gary has received numerous awards including: "Community Volunteer of the Year," "Citizen of the Year in 2013" and was a semi-finalist for "National Realtor of the Year." Currently Gary sits on the board of the Napa Valley College Foundation, is an Honorary Commander for Travis Air Force Base, and served twelve years on the foundation board of Queen of the Valley Hospital.
Gary is best known for founding and serving as executive director of one of the Bay Area’s most popular events – The Wine Valley Cycle for Sight / Rotary Ride for Veterans – A wine, food, music and cycling festival that attracts over 2,200 guests each year and has raised over $2.3 million over the past 13 years. The majority of the proceeds benefit 2 local charities. The Pathway Home Program, which is a privately funded treatment center for returning veterans and Enchanted Hills Camp for the Blind. Both are located in Napa Valley.
Having just completed 33 years in real estate, Gary has continued to be among the top producing agents in Napa Valley every year and has now closed over 1,000 transactions. Perhaps no one in Napa Valley has sold more real estate over this time period than Gary.
Gary attributes his long-term success to his vast knowledge of the valley, his ability to communicate, solve problems and to the positive relationships he has developed with the entire real estate community.
